The agenda kicks off with a presentation by Heather Macre, member of the Central Arizona Water Conservation District Board. The current rules governing the Colorado River expire at the end of 2026 when Arizona’s fate will be decided regarding our access to Colorado River water. Ms Macre’s presentation will be informed by her position on the CAWCD Board since 2018, and her experience as an attorney.

Our keynote speaker will be Attorney General Kris Mayes. The Attorney General will speak for about 20 – 25 minutes and then take questions from attendees. if you want to ask a question, you will need to pick up a numbered lanyard at check in and then queue up to the microphone to ask your question. Last minute questions will be accepted as time permits. Only attendees wearing a number lanyard will be admitted into the microphone queue.

Attorney General Mayes will be attending as a candidate. During the event your donations to her campaign will be welcome. We will have QR codes available, and the Mayes campaign will provide envelopes as alternatives to Act Blue.
